This is a really fun Helicon.  It has a very interesting look to it.  It plays surprisingly well.  It has a nice sound to it! The water key is off and missing (not included) the way that they have made it work is they have plugged the hole with cork. Like we mentioned above the lead pipe will likely need to be re-soldered so that it is solidly on the horn as well as the brace mentioned above.  Overall this instrument has a great vintage look and sounds good too!

This instrument is currently in Good playing condition
The Finish:
It has approximately 50- 55% of the lacquered finish
Player Wear:
Light general wear (possible light surface scratches and/or minor dents and dings)
Valve Condition:
All the valves are in good working condition and some of the tuning slides are stuck
Valve Info:
Valves one and two are missing finger buttons.  Valve number three finger button is missing the pearl and is likely not the original finger button.
Lead Pipe Condition:
Light general wear (possible light surface scratches and/or minor dents and dings) It needs to be re-soldered onto the valve as right now it is a compression fit so the lead pipe can pop off and go back on.
Body Condition:

Metal Condition:
There is a crack in the bell ring (see pics)
Outside Body Bow Condition:
Has a light dent in the outside bow with a small ding (See Pics)
The Bell:
Minor dents and dings and medium bell edge damage (See Pics)

Re-soldered:
Several (See Pics) There is a brace from the main wrap to the first valve tuning slide that needs to be re-soldered.  It currently has a piece of wire wrapped around the tube so it does not get too separated.

If you are not completely satisfied with your Musical Instrument City purchase, please contact us.  If you would like to return your purchase, for any reason, you have 30 days from the date of purchase to return it with the original box and packing material with the following refund restrictions:

NON REFUNDABLE
as of November 1st, 2019 as per PayPal’s new Policy.  (So your refund after inspection will be: Your original purchase price minus the PayPal Non-refundable Fee).

Incomplete Return:
The item will be inspected upon return and if any original parts or pieces are missing you will be contacted to send the missing items back.  If you are unable to return the missing item/part, you forfeit the refund.  All partial items that have been returned will also be forfeited and will be the property of Musical Instrument City.

Damage during Outbound Shipping:
In the unfortunate chance your item is damaged, the following procedure must be followed exactly in order to process a refund. Failure to comply with the following procedures constitutes a violation of the return policy and therefore a refund will not be given. Please contact us immediately. Save everything, including the box, packing materials, and shipping label. Without the original box and packing materials, a claim cannot be made, and a refund will not be issued. Take a full set of pictures so the damage can be assessed. Don’t send anything back yet until we contact our insurance company.  We will tell you when you may ship the item back.  Please see instructions for return shipping below. If it is determined that the item was damaged in shipping, we will send you a return shipping label via eBay Messages.  Refunds will not be issued for merchandise, which has been damaged while in your possession.

Damage during Return Shipping:
The item will be inspected upon return and if the item is damaged during return shipping, we will contact you so you can file an insurance claim.  Because you are the shipper, we cannot initiate a claim.  Depending upon how much damage was sustained you may only get a partial refund or no refund due to the damage.

Be sure all original parts of the item purchased are included before you return it.

In order to receive a refund our policy requires you to put insurance on the item for its return shipping.

Please use the original packing material and box.  Please use original packing material inside the case around the item.  Also use the original packing material around the case in the box to protect the item from shipping damage. If your item does not have a case, please use all packing material that the item came with to protect the item from shipping damage.

Uninsured packages or items shipped “COD” or “Shipping Due” will be refused and a refund will not be issued.

Once the item is received, we will conduct a physical inspection. This inspection will determine your eligibility for a refund.
