King 3 Valve Silver EEb Sousaphone Ser#139470 Plays but Needs an Adjustment
Additional Information:
This is a nice little EEb sousaphone! It is an older style King and overall it is in good shape.  It does have replacement finger buttons for all of the valves and a replacement third valve tuning slide that is lacquered.  The tuning slide is from a King sousaphone so it is a King part it is just lacquered instead of silver.  There is one bell tightening screw that is missing and not included. There are a couple of points in the body as it wraps around where the metal is broken (see pictures).  You can see on the back side of the horn where there is evidence of exposure to moisture that is dry now.  It could use some clean up as it has been sitting for quite some time.  If you would like to clean it up it should clean up well and look very nice with its silver finish. While the horn does play with the couple of breaks in the metal it is possible that there is some light leaking and it would likely play better with an adjustment to fix that.  Overall this is a nice little sousaphone!

Playing condition but there are a couple of points where the metal is broken and will need a little bit of an adjustment to stop any potential leaks.
The Finish:
It has approximately 80-85% of the patina finish.  It looks like it could be cleaned up relatively easily and should have a pretty good amount of the silver finish still intact as we cleaned up just a bit around the engraving on the bell.
Player Wear:
Light general wear (possible light surface scratches and/or minor dents and dings)
Valve Condition:
All the valves are in good working condition and all but one of the tuning slides are stuck.
Tuning Slide Information:
The third valve tuning slide is a replacement King tuning slide that is lacquered instead of silver. This is the only tuning slide that moves the rest are stuck.
Valve Information:
All of the valve finger buttons are replacements and do not match each other.

Incomplete Return:
The item will be inspected upon return and if any original parts or pieces are missing you will be contacted to send the missing items back.  If you are unable to return the missing item/part, you forfeit the refund.  All partial items that have been returned will also be forfeited and will be the property of Musical Instrument City.

Damage during Outbound Shipping:
In the unfortunate chance your item is damaged, the following procedure must be followed exactly in order to process a refund. Failure to comply with the following procedures constitutes a violation of the return policy and therefore a refund will not be given. Please contact us immediately. Save everything, including the box, packing materials, and shipping label. Without the original box and packing materials, a claim cannot be made, and a refund will not be issued. Take a full set of pictures so the damage can be assessed. Don’t send anything back yet until we contact our insurance company.  We will tell you when you may ship the item back.  Please see instructions for return shipping below. If it is determined that the item was damaged in shipping, we will send you a return shipping label via eBay Messages.  Refunds will not be issued for merchandise, which has been damaged while in your possession.

Damage during Return Shipping:
The item will be inspected upon return and if the item is damaged during return shipping, we will contact you so you can file an insurance claim.  Because you are the shipper, we cannot initiate a claim.  Depending upon how much damage was sustained you may only get a partial refund or no refund due to the damage.
