    Description

    This is a Green River Formation fossil fish. It appears to be a
    Gosiutichthys
    but is 4 inches long which is much larger than normal
    Gosiutichthys
    size. It was collected in the Green River Formation outside Kemmerer, WY in 2018. The fish is well preserved in a larger piece of matrix. Total size of the specimen and matrix is 6.75" x 5.75" x 1".
